Spring in uptown Charlotte was such a sweet backdrop for Rachel and Nate’s engagement photos at Romare Bearden Park. We had just missed the cherry blossoms, but the city was still very much in bloom—spring flowers popping up everywhere and that fresh, hopeful feeling that comes with this time of year.

This session was especially meaningful to photograph because I’ve known Nate since growing up.
